Christmas in July
Most teachers spend money out of their own pockets to buy supplies for their students. Once again, St. John Chrysostom Episcopal Church will be gathering classroom supplies for some Jeffco teachers in July. Please click here for a list of items. You may bring supplies to the church during our July 27 summer picnic or any Sunday in July. You may also donate online if that works better for you. Thank you for your generosity!
Prayer for the Nation
Lord God Almighty, who has made all peoples of the earth for your glory, to serve you in freedom and peace: Grant to the people of our country a zeal for justice and the strength of forbearance, that we may use our liberty in accordance with your gracious will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Serving Global Needs
EPISCOPAL RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT DONATIONS
Hearing God’s call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, Episcopal Relief & Development serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world. In 2016, Episcopal Relief & Development spent 84% on programs versus 9% on fundraising and 7% on administration. Because ERD receives support from the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society in addition to income from investments, at least 90% of every donor dollar goes directly to programs.
