Christmas in July!

July 8 is our next SECOND SUNDAY event:
CHRISTMAS IN JULY POTLUCK: 10:15am July 8 – Please bring your favorite Christmas dish for a fun potluck and fellowship!
SUMMER OUTREACH – Each year, teachers dip into their own pockets to buy classroom supplies for their students, often spending hundreds of their own dollars. These are the supplies we will collect for teachers on July 8:

    • Sticky notes – regular size and small rectangles (any colors)
    • Highlighters
    • Package of Expo dry erase markers – assorted & neon colors
    • Pencils
    • Box of scented markers
    • Or you may donate and our teachers will shop for the needed supplies!

The Challenge of the Wind

“One thing is certain: If you don’t get off the land and into the boat, if you don’t set off from shore, if you’re not willing to take the risk of getting wet and dunked in the water, you will never be able to move.
And so it is with the spiritual journey.” Read more… by the Right Rev. Rob O’Neill, Bishop of Colorado.

Keeping our Neighborhood Clean!

At the end of May, we did our bit on a stretch of W. 32nd Avenue and the Adopt-A-Road cleanup! Lots of thank-yous and waves from passers-by, and quite a few bags of trash too. But lots of fun working together followed by lunch!

Episcopal Relief & Development serving global needs

EPISCOPAL RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT DONATIONS

Hearing God’s call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, Episcopal Relief & Development serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world. In 2016, Episcopal Relief & Development spent 84% on programs versus 9% on fundraising and 7% on administration. Because ERD receives support from the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society in addition to income from investments, at least 90% of every donor dollar goes directly to programs.
